Settings and scope
Notes uses CookieConsent v3 and stores choices in this browser independently of coreli.top analytics consent. Open settings here or in the footer at any time. Accept and reject have the same prominence and number of steps. Optional storage starts off; rejecting it does not prevent reading, search or necessary sign-in.
Actual storage
| Item | Purpose and retention | Control |
|---|---|---|
coreli_notes_consent | Notes categories and configuration revision, 180 days | Change settings or clear it in the browser |
| Essential Clerk cookies | Shared authentication, security and sessions; durations depend on the sign-in service and session | Sign out or manage sessions in your account; this panel does not delete them |
theme | Local theme until changed or cleared | Used when choosing the related function |
coreli-reading | Optional: the latest 50 note titles and URLs, with no server copy | Off by default; disabling or clearing removes it |
The main site and Notes are separate origins, with separate local storage. Clerk may use its configured domain rules to support necessary cross-subdomain sessions. This does not grant cross-site analytics permission. The main site’s coreli_consent does not authorize optional Notes uses.
Reader mode keeps its state in the current page session, without a separate persistent storage key.
No optional analytics SDKs
Quartz analytics is disabled. Google Analytics, PostHog and Vercel analytics SDKs are not installed merely to make the sites look consistent. GPC is never taken as consent. Necessary requests, hosting security logs and external links you follow remain subject to the services concerned. Cookie controls cannot undo earlier requests.
Reading history and withdrawal
When enabled, reading a note saves an entry on this device, up to 50 entries. Nothing is uploaded, synced to another device or published. Withdrawal immediately stops new writes and removes the key, without clearing Clerk, theme or reader mode. You can also clear only the list while keeping the toggle enabled.
- Enable JavaScript to view local entries.
If browser storage is blocked, choices or history may not persist; reading still works. Clearing all Notes site data resets local preferences and may also end necessary sessions. This is broader than the panel’s reading-history control.
Versions and account agreement
Terms, privacy and Cookie policy have individual document versions; Cookie configuration has its own revision. New optional purposes require updated information and any necessary consent. Formatting alone does not force a new choice. The main server stores registration agreement records separately; a local Cookie choice does not replace them or enable main-site analytics.
